What a great tour.

Fanastic weather and even better roads.

Highlights for me have to include the gorge runs, Dr Death and Micheal Winner in the Sag been out run by a local on the mountain roads in a white van!

Not to mention fabricating brake pads froma Chim with a angle grinder in am Alpine shed in the middle of the night.

Oh and my hat!

I agree a fantastic tour and great company! Not sure whether I enjoyed the driving or evening banter. Hats off (John Langleys of course) to Driving Adventures for organising such a good tour and special thanks to Jason of TVR Power for mechanical back up and giving me some brakes.

All I can say is awesome. Best tour yet. Well done Graham and Darren.

I agree with John not sure what was best. Driving or the company and the banter,

Highlights for me include. Gorges, being forced to drink :-) being ripped out of a lift. Being thrown at a wall. The great driving the wonderful people. will put some piccys up shortly.

Just got home after a night in a sh*****le called Ashford, where only Tony and AAron would enjoy eating. Hours to drive home on crap roads.
Still was a brilliant holiday and as you all say great company. Thanks a lot to Driving Adventures, and Chris for letting me follow him.

Thanks Folks.

Glad you enjoyed the trip so much. The preprogrammed Sat Navs introduced for this year seem to of really done the trick - and considering how much they cost - thank god for that! So many people commented how much better it was having them.

John - your hats are ridiculous (especially when combined with Magnum's old shirts) - but long may they continue!

Ian - was your opinion of Ashford influenced slightly by the football result?!

Chris - hope you recover fully and aren't worried about coming on future tours if (when)you hear that Marc (Rambo Lambo) will be there as he did seem very willing to see if you bounce off things made of concrete - and oddly you did!

John - Aren't you supposed to be in Spain?

What a fantastic trip the weather was great, the roads were great and so were the people (well mabe with the exception of Ian B ).

Thanks to Graham and Darren for such a fantastic trip.

My highlights would be being taken for a spin in the Lambo and the supercharged Chim.

Here's some pics

A selection of photos from the trip are now in the Gallery section.

You might also notice a new feature on the front page of the site.

Chaps,

A couple of points of clarification...1.i merely intended to assist Mr Payne to his chair, however physics was never one of my strong points, and 17 stone assisting 9 stone equals Payne hitting the wall, then sliding approx 6 feet vertically down into the chair !..2.Payney should not instigate drinking games, and the try and slope off to bed when the going gets tough !!

Great trip everybody, great roads, great people.....lets do it again soon !

Marc
