Anyone else spot that Bertone is heading to the wall?

In a small editorial column in this months Evo the future of Bertone looks shakey!

'Any hopes of TVR being built by Bertone are fading fast. The survival of the Italian company as a going concern seems increasingly uncertain after negotiations with Fiat to build the new lancia Coupé collapsed. This could mean Bertone will close it's doors for the final time in July, once employment contracts run out.'

There are enough shithouses in politics just now, one more will make no difference.

All the rumours have centred on Bertone but I read somewhere that negotiations with Lotus are at a more advanced stage.

Lets' face it, all we have is rumour. Let's quiet down until we know something definate, like someone posts on here that they have just bought a new TVR.

He has plenty of money to sue people who slander him, so I'd be wary of what you say on a public forum. I for example would not wish to dwell on where family money came from, or what foreign connections that might have, any more than on the gentlemans business acumen.
