Back On The Road.......Lakes Tomorrow

Im sporting a big grin and why (No not that, its not Christmas or my Birthday), No the Griffs back on the road and we are off to the Lakes tomorrow.
The Griffs been on axle stands for 8 days, and I still cannot believe its taken me 8 days to replace both front top wishbones, strip the loose powder coat, de-rust/clean, de-grease, Kurust, primer coats, white top coats, Waxoyl underseal and finally a waxoyl spray top coat. It may have taken all last bank holiday and subsequent evening, but it now looks IMHO the Badgers....
I know many of you have been through the above process but this was a first for me. At first I was keen, then depressed after finding the powder coating falling off in almost all areas. It was only when the final top coat of smooth white was on that I new i had turned the final corner. The waxoyl underseal and final spray coat was a joy.
So I now have this grin because I know/hope that with a recoat of Waxoyl underseal/spray kit each year I wont have to spend another 8 days like the last.
Heres to the the weekend enjoy yours, I know I will.
