Anyone used The TVR Shop?
Discussion
Just wondering how people have got on with them? Placed an order early last Monday for a few small bits, got to the end of the order, delivery a bit over 12 quid which I thought was a bit dear but not terrible, then noticed that the goods are despatched within 7 days! Way to long in this day and age. Anyway had order from them as they were the only site listing all the bits I needed in one place, no sign of the goods yet.

Try TVR CAR PARTS really good service and if they don't have what you need they will get it. (won't pull your pants down on delivery charges)
Not used The TVR SHOP. I think its part of Thames Valley Racetech.

Agreed TVR Car Parts have been great for me recently, they've helped me get a few parts they didn't have in stock. nice guys, really willing to help, regularly called me back with status updates and put up with me changing my mind.. The web site is good, but they only have a standard delivery charge which if you only want something small may seem a bit steep.. but just phone them and they will be more then fair!!

I'm relatively new to Pistonheads so forgive me if I'm not with it, but I thought that that was part of the point of forums like these; i.e. to give advice and comment whether positive or negative. I can understand if a company was being targeted unfairly or nastily but the original comment was fair enough as far as I am concerned, and if the gripe about postage charges has been picked up by the company concerned then it may cause them to have a re-think.

When you sign up to PH you agree to abide by the rules.
There is a very clear policy on naming and shaming

I posted as a gentle reminder as a member and moderator for some years now I have seen how quickly these type of threads can suddenly developed into a thread slating a company. This can be very one sided without such company being able to defend against these comments. It works the other way too, I am sure many a dealer etc may want to post about some idiot they have had as a customer but in the same way prehaps that Customer wouldnt be able to defend himself on here. At the end of the Day that is Pistonheads Chose the no name and shame policy. Also I think there are more lawful liable stuff o do with it to.
