MID ESSEX CONVOYS - May 2007 meet

Second Sunday of the month, Mid-Essex TVRCC meet. So this coming Sunday 13th May means it's convoy time.

WHITE HART MAIN CONVOYas usual from about 11:00, with the aim of leaving at 12:00.

How do I get to the White Hart...?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane.
3) Take the 2nd exit (the first takes you to the Royal Mail sorting office!)
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph
5) The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
6) If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far.

THORPE BAY PRE MEET

In the bays along Thorpe Bay seafront next to the yacht park between Thorpe Hall Avenue and Maplin Way.
Meeting at 10.15 to 10.30 for 10.45 departure

Steve see Kens (fblokes) reply, it's as it says on the tin.
Its a meet where blokes (and girls) who like cars meet and chat
about absolutly anything!!
(but its mostly about cars).

Boo Hoo, I turned up at south mimms for what could be my last meet for a while and there was nobody there. Kind of put me off driving the rest on me tod. Hope there was a good turn out further east all the same, shame about the weather.

Thanks, but I have a great replacement in Pete and I'm sure that when he finds his feet (poor boy is always misplacing them) anfd settles into it he will be a great RO for the region.

Sorry you didn't get an answer to the piccy question before the Meet.....yes...you can video and take pics to your heart's content...and we would appreciate seeing any posted up on the thread after the Meet if you have the time.
Some people prefer that the number plates are obscured though.
