It was a great day (thanks Pauline) especially the chearleader who had to sit on the back shelf of my Car. I've always wanted to do a rolling burnout at Rockingham.

Hi Pauline , brill day , bit cold , fast cars & super crumpet!!!.
Yeah we all had a nice time ,not sure if Ascar is for us. The parade was the best part of the day ! i did'nt get a race driver in the yellowchim , but we all had a very nice near naked cheerleader in the car .
someone even had two in thair Tuscan !! did'nt they Alan. There were smashes which stopped the racing lots of times and one driver being badly hurt in a crash right in front of us, and it must have taken at least one hour to cut him free,
i think he had a spinal injury. And we did'nt get an update on his condition before we left the circuit.

Yep another great day at Rockingham....did I break the world record for the number of people in a Tuscan...? 2 near naked girlies and a racing driver (an Essex one at that!!) and me.

This was better then last year...more crowds and more attention to the cars, Cascade Colour on a Tuscan certainly draws the masses - eh Dave! lol, Hey your get your turn with the new car!!!

Even the group 'Busted' pointed and said they wanted my car over the tanoy...well they gotta learn to drive first

Bring on next year....

Alan.

(repeated from Essex to Rockingham because I didn't see this post!)

Yeah - Great dat at Rockingham. 23 TVR's did the Grandstand Parade with ASCAR drivers and Cheer Leaders!

The racing was good fun too!

Thanks for getting us there well in time Yellowchim! (I'll forward the speeding fine to you!)

p.s. - the driver who had to be cut out was OK. He had a previous back injury that they didn't want to agrivate. And it's difficult getting the driver out the passenger window with all the safety bars in there!

Perhaps he is practising for the new car!!!

Must say the ASCAR racing was the motorsport equiverlant of American Football, me and racegirl were talking bets on how many laps before the next crash, I'm sure the safty car completed the most laps
Think I'll stick with GT's, but it made a change and the parade lap was quite good fun, even if the totty did look better from a distance,
Cheers to you guys (and girls) for organising it, and letting a few of us northerners gatecrash your party

Anyone get any good pictures

//P//,

Yes I will put some pics together for you. Didn't get to take any pics of the 2 girlies in my Tusc as had my hands full at the time ... 'no' I mean on the steering wheel silly

Actually nearly lost them a few times as they were sitting on the top holding the rollbar...difficult not to accelerate when you on the race track

Alan.
