ordered some, on the tuscan there is a plate shape behind the number plate, rather than cheese grater holes, so removing it or running a smaller plate wont make any difference.

my concern is about the heat build up le mans traffic where extra holes wont help anyway.

Joolz does a chip that lowers the temperature that the fans come on at, any one tried it?

cheers

Don't bother buying it seperately ... Buy Halfords advanced coolant and it's got it in it judging by the colour, I've been using it for the last 3 years and swear by it now ...

The best and cheapest way of getting the fans to kick in sooner is a lower temp otter switch and thermostat to start
the water moving through the radiator sooner.
About a fiver each.

I had some added a year ago but this was done with modded otter switch & new thermostat so difficult to tell if it works, but at a £10 not doing much harm. Works best with 100% water, as coolant is added reduces its effectiveness.
