Hey Guys, just wanted to say hello! Im new on the piston heads website. Im a keen car enthusiast and love the TVR. I own a Sagaris my self and have had it for just under a year now.. What a great car! It puts a smile on my face even on the most dipressing and stressfull of days.. I couldn't help but notice that there's no sagaris section (or is that the 's series' bit thats dedicated to the sagaris?)! But any ways i just wanted to say hello and make a few friends, so look out for me!
Regards,

LOL! Ive been flying with Ryanair for just over 3 years! Its a great job but they do make you work you arse off (especially ryanair) with only has 30 minutes stopovers at each detination so theres quick turn around, which means wages are higher than normal, which explains why i have such a nice car which i rearly get to drive!

One would expect, as well as hope, that a pilot of any description would appear to be sophisticated and somewhat cool...?

A bit of dodgy spelling and grammar going on there too ... but I'm prepared to give the benefit of the doubt so far
Welcome aboard. Who did you fly with before Ryanair? I'm only envious, as that is one of the few jobs that I really wanted to do when I was younger, but alas, I'm basically not clever enough
Hey, Lovelyjubbly, if you're a Ryanair pilot at Stansted, you'll know my great friend Paul Payne, former head pilot with same. We do a lot of clay pigeon shooting and wildfowling together. There's quite a few TVR's in Essex and the Mid-Essex chapter of the TVR Car Club meet near Maldon every second Sunday of the month. I'm in Chelmsford, have just bought a new Tuscan S Mk2 and am available for blasts through the Essex countryside, if Michael O'Leary gives you any time off!
Actually took a Ryanair flight from Stansted to Blackpool a week ago to pick up my new TVR from the dealer in Preston. The pilot was Spanish, although I'm not sure that was necessarily the reason he completely ballsed up his approach and had to abort the landing at the last moment
We then circled around Blackpool and what looked like the Lake District for the next 20 minutes, presumably while he got his sh*t together for the next attempt! He finally got the 737 down on what looked like a very short runway. My taxi driver told me there have been a few such incidences at Blackpool due to it not being designed for large airliners! Looked more like a Second World War airfield to me!!
