Sorry about the "urgent" but i need to sort this a.s.a.p. Griff being used as a wedding car next weekend yikes

I need a new Diff, have a 3.45 at the moment and thinking about putting a 3.31 in

Reason i ask is i dont want to loose to much acceleration but like the idea of slightly taller gearing

Some figures:
VMax....... 159mph on rev limiter @ 6100rpm
Santa Pod.. 1/4mile 12.9sec Terminal 108.7mph .. 1/8mile 8.36sec 87mph
60ft 1.964sec 330ft 5.467

this is the power curve

Will a 3.31 affect it much ? which would you go for ??

Thanks in advance

p.s. anyone got a cheap BTR & i might not worry about which ratio

Might be worth seeing if you can get one from Aus - looks like the BTR originates from there and iirc is used in Holdens. A fair bit of stuff on Fleabay here but you'd have to know your onions.

Spoke to him today, it's a time thing again will probabaly give him my existing one for re-build anyway, hence pushing my thinking to a 3.31 and having the two options

3.31 seems a odd size for a m76 btr,if you want a quote on a 3.08 I can probably have it couried in days, plenty over here.

You are a gent thumbup but time is not on my side with this frown

Must admit i would be worried about loosing to much acceleration with 3.08 would make VMax interesting biggrin
