Nope is that like when when the bib flagged me down and said "do you know why I stopped you?" to which I thought, ah ah trick question and said "ehhhh...nope?" and he said "you were speeding sir". "Gosh I wasn't aware of that sir thank you for informing me".

Never attended one myself but I have heard reports - some good, some bad..

Some have been reported as enlightening and interesting whilst others, so I've been told, have been several hours' worth of patronising anti-speeding propaganda.

That said, whichever way the course turns out to be, I'd have thought the appeal of zero points makes the decision to take it a bit of no-brainer..

ETA - Assuming you have been offered a SAC in lieu of a Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, of course.

Did one last year (see March Sprint mag editorial) and it was much better than I thought - and actually learned a lot.

Enjoy!

Cheers

Mrs Gloggy went on one after aquiring 6 points via the scamera's (36 in 30).
She did not have the option of null points but still went.
Her report was 'a load of shite and another way to fleece you of your money by this gormless government'.

Totally disagree, if you go with an open mind and listen you actually get quite a bit out of it.

Mind you it might depend where you do the course I did mine in Lancashire.

Anythings got to be better than 3 points IMO.

Under 8 hours to drop 3 points - just smile knowing (as they did as they clocked the car) life is worth living.

I'm sure all these courses are different - my father went on one some years ago, came away thinking the instructor was a good lad and that 'Hazard Awareness' was more improatant than what speed you were doing and, moreover, getting caught was the crime, not speeding itself.

Perhaps these courses have changes in the last 5 years.

Did you not have a smile on your face as you drove off (without 3 points) in a car that makes your cheeks hurt?
