Hello all, have currently got a 5.0 Chim, and am very happy with it, mind you only had it a few months....

Now after speaking to the missus, she is willing for me to upgrade the car if I want to later in the year, to eaither a Cerbera (4.2/4.5 (NOT speed 6) or a Tuscan.

Now, a few questions regarding both of them:

1. Which is the fastest?
2. Which of those will be the 'cheapest' to run?
3. Would I notice a massive difference from my 5.0 Chim?

I know, I know the sensible thing is to keep the Chim, as cheaper to run etc...but the Tuscans and Cerbs just look so much 'meaner'!!!

Thanks

1.Cerbera
2.Tuscan and easier to live with on a day to day basis
3.Yes.5.0ltr Chim has massive grunt bottom end,but power starts to tail off past 5,500rpm.Cerb carrys on pulling past this.

Why not an S6 Cerb? It's the same 4.0 engine as in a Tuscan.

The reason I would no go for a S6 Cerb, is the engine....

But, would be willing to consider a Tusc with the S6 engine mind! (If you know what I mean?)

Anything with a Speed Six is ultimately the cheapest to run.

Explain? Cheapest to run when it's running, or cheapest to keep on the road?

Im a little confused by this.

At 70k with very little spent on the engine so far, i'd disagree. (a few throttle pots/ht leads/tappet adjustments as part of services/filters? - pretty standard stuff?)

Enlighten me please. The rest of the car is what costs a fair bit... hehe
