there was a saying at "TVR" JOKERS TOO THE LEFT CLOWNS TO THE RIGHT"
and the clowns are still juggling those balls,and losing them one by one
seems such a shame could have been handled so much better,and the workforce would have stuck by them if only they would have been "Honest"

I realise that the Blockpool Automotive factory has closed down but their website says about outsourcing and all that, does that mean you can still buy a brand spanking new TVR today?

Tvr exist as a design company etc. Supposedly the Americans have setup a dealer network across the world - even in countries they don't have contracts to set up in.
There are no UK dealers selling brand new cars - basically there are no brand new cars. Any car sold as 'new' is actually at least six months old and probably closer to a year.
Most of the UK dealers have closed down or moved to different marques.
I realise that the Blackpool Automotive factory has closed down but their website says about outsourcing and all that, does that mean you can still buy a brand spanking new TVR today?
The engines are to be done by Ricardo and assembly by Bertone - which sounds like a plan until you realise Bertone might themselves be in trouble.
Unofficial but reliable word from the remaining Dealer network is that current Warranties aren't going to be honoured. Would you buy a car with no Warranty?
TVR had a hugely enthusiastic and forgiving band of owners - very few of them will ever buy another from Smolenski and his American crew.
What sort of company P's off its entire customer base and expects to survive?
When they have no-one to make a product for them anyway.
Only hope someone like Lotus can move in and sort it out.
