I know it's early but these things take a bit of organisation so here it goes...
How would you fancy a Xmas party in Plymouth? It would go like this arrive in Plymouth Saturday morning, meet for coffee at the Ibis hotel then cruise into Plymouth, up on the Hoe etc. maybe a little Chrimbo shopping then back to my workplace where I have a secure alarmed building linked to the police station to lock the cars away, from there a minibus would take us wherever we wanted to go for a drink etc.
Then at 20.30 go for a meal at Cuisine Spontonaee on Sutton Marina in the historic Barbican area. This place is just the best, it's similar to a Mongolian BBQ where you have a menu of about 40 different styles/sauces etc you go and pick your raw ingredients and tell your chef how you want it prepared. You can go up as many times as you like and the service is great It is also the only fully licensed restaurant that encourages you to bring your own wine for a mere £1 corkage, result! From there a few sociable wets around the Barbican before the minibus scoops us up to take us back the Ibis for a good nights kip. The following morning we would have breakfast at the Ibis, after that the minibus would take us to Dinnaton country club where Duncan (a director and fellow PHer) has been kind enough to offer us the full facllities it has to offer which include gym, pool, steam, sauna, jacuzzi even a nine hole golf course to ease that hangover!! My workplace is only 2 minutes from there so if you want to pick your car up first it's not a problem you can make your back at any stage then.
If I was to tell you I can offer you all this including coffee, meal, accomodation, minibus, breakfast and club for somewhere in the region of £45 for the lot what would you say? Your only expense is your beer!!

Sounds Good, let you know more when you have some dates.
Could fit in nicely as my Brother-in-Law lives in Truro so we could roll it in to a visit with him
Oh and he also says whenever I speak with anyone from that neck of the woods to say 'D'rectly' guess you know what that means?

Okay how does Saturday December the 6th sound? Good I hope because I've booked the Ibis and the restaurant!!!
The price is based on two people sharing a room whether that is a double or a twin. If people want a room to themselves then it will obviously cost them a little more. I have secure parking at my work for about ten cars so it will be a first come first served basis if this event proves to be busy but saying that the car park at the Ibis is a private car park off the main road that is under 24h videotaped survailance, it also is open 24h (my partner is the deputy manager there) so there is always someone there. Apart from that........LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!

The limit on the restaurant is 74, the minibus might end up a bit knackered but what the hell, the Ibis will email you all route-finders etc. This will be a real ripper of a night, a proper let your hair down evening not the usual sit-down-stand-off huddle, huddle TVR meet, just like minded folk having a hoolie!!!

For anyone who doesn't have a Chimaera we can lend clubs if you can't squeeze them into your 'boots'

Great to see so much genuine interest in an event so far down country. Looking forward to it already
