Lovely day driving to Holland and back
Discussion
Hi all,
Just thought I would share - took the Tuscan over to Holland yesterday to visit a client, 500 mile round trip. Left at 7am, 15mins to the chunnel, in Calais before you know it and then great roads all the way through France, Belgium and Holland. Fabulous weather and people, lots of lots of bikers giving it the thumbs-up which was cool. Not too many exotics on the roads though - mainly Audi's, VW's, Merc's etc. Saw 2 Carrera S's but that was about it!
The Dutch guys I met loved it too, when I came back out from the meeting to get some samples from the boot, there was about 15 of 'em standing around, peering in the windows etc!
I know we don't often post positive threads regarding SP6 performance etc but it didn't miss a beat all the way. Used a little bit of oil (very long periods of 95mph+ driving I think) and got very hot when stopped in traffic for half-hour in Maastricht at 30degreesC but didn't overheat or complain.
What a day!
Andy
