T350c manual gives ideal oil temperatures before you use to high revs ie around 80c at 7500rpm. my temp never seems to go much past 40c and thats on a good run??? anyone help?

You must go everywhere very slowly, since you shouldn't do more than 3,000 revs with the oil temp. under 40 degrees. I think you've got an oil temp. sensor problem. Whats your water temp.?? There should be 10 degrees difference when you've good airflow.

Sounds like the oil temp sensor to me, this is located on the bottom of the oil tank, with a wire siliconed into it, you have nothing to loose by trying to push the wire further in to see if that will cure your problem, the worst that can happen is the wire pops out completly and you will have no reading at all and a dash warning,i think you have to drain the oil tank to remove the sensor unless you are very quick and risk loosing a ltr of oil max?
