Just been trawling through the news and can't see what's happening with TVR name/brand these days.

Anyone shed any light on it?

Is there only a badge left in the bottom of a dusty chest now?

Any gossip/rumours?

Regards

Graham

Just lifted this from Bertone's website

"The Top Management of Carrozzeria Bertone wishes to clarify thè current situation of thè Company in view of thè rumours that have appeared over the past few days in the Italian financial press.
Agreement has recently been reached with thè Unions to continue exceptional redundancy payments until thè end of thè year. This period of time will enable thè company to draft an industrial business plan which, together with two Bertone-labelled projects, should also include a production assignment from an OEM. Contacts have in fact been resumed with a number of leading car manufacturers with a view to examining new cooperation opportunities.
The company has also made contacts with a private equity fund to assess together their interest or otherwise in participating financially in the industriai relaunch, and in examining possible market strategies."

It's dated May 2007 and makes no reference to TVR. An OEM is an Original Equipment Manfacturer, not a car manufacturer.

It all looks a bit familiar to people who were following the TVR story April 2006
