Hi folks
I need to come up with a VIN plate with axle weights and a maximum weight for the Tuscan (not current S6 Tuscan wink). All I can do is make an educated guess, but a starting point would be the dry weight (from the brochure/manual etc) and the front and rear axle weights and maximum weight off the VIN/Chassis plate off another TVR. From that, I'm guessing I'd get away with extrapolating weights for may car as I know the design weight for the '88 Tuscan road car. Older cars may not have a VIN plate with all the wights on it, and I'm not sure the date where it became mandatory. So, basically, what's on your VIN plate (I don't need your chassis number!) and what was the dry weight in the car manual/brocure/spec.

Thanks

The VIN for my V8S doesn't have these figures, but I seem to remember the dry weight was listed at around 1020Kg and kerbside was around 1050Kg.

VIN for my S shows:

Gross wt max : 1170 kg
Max front axle : 609 kg
Max rear axle : 680 kg

Does that help?
