WHERE CAN I GET THIS PART?
Discussion
As a result of spot on advice from this forum ( thanks! ) I have discovered my gearchange problem on my LT77 box is due to the plastic seat/bush that the gearlever sits in is cracked. The Rover part number is UKC9338. I have tried Rimmers and Christopher Neil and it seems there is no supplier for this part at the moment. Doe's anyone know where I can source one?? Thanks. Steve.
Have you tried S&S Preperations? It's in the TR7 PDF parts list for 25p!

I would try a gear box specialist rather than a TVR specialist if it is part you want is part of the box.
When I had problems selecting a gear, my local TVR man offered to take the box out ( which I would have done myself had it needed it ), but helpfuly suggested I saw a gear box expert first.
When there, he put it on the ramp, sucked hard, and had the problem solved in half an hour for a very reasonable fee.
I was, err, more than grateful as I had been expecting it too be far worse....
I cannot remember the details ( it was a long time ago ) but it could be you have the same problem that I had.
