IIRC, the TVRCC looked at the idea a couple of years ago but the cost was prohibitive.

The TVRCC did have a stand in the past - 2003/2004?

Always plenty in the car parks - takes me ages to get back to my car afterwards

Correct - in fact I think we did every year from 1994/5 up until about 2003/4. Then the whole event went upmarket and prices with it which we felt priced us out of it. True, we could put on a small stand but for something as prestigious as GFOS we felt we had to have something in fitting to both the event and the marque. We seriously looked at it again for this year but elected to focus all of our efforts very firmly on Rockingham - see http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

However, noting the poll that we are running on the Club website which puts GFOS and NEC Classic Car Show as the clear two front runners for events that members would like to see us at, we shall certainly be looking favourably at it for 2008.

Many thanks for the confirmation. I think the last time I saw a TVR stand was when the speed 12 was on display. Oh well, hopefully next year.

Leaving Suffolk at 5 30am (!)and using A3, be in convoy with Caterham and Fiat Panda 100 hp, as far as I am aware there are no speed cams on A3?
