Well have not lost it, never had the dam thing with the car! Can I get the cover off without one? Can I get a spare generic key? Is it normal practice to find locking wheel nuts underneath (hope not!)?

Cheers,

Rob

Not sure what car you mean. I've sent you some help for Griffith wheels (on email) but can't assist beyond that !

Thanks, did respond to the mail?

That car is a Griff500. Wheels are Estorils (sp) and have the locking centre cap over the wheel nuts. Not like my locking cap on the Chim 500 I used to have as I could use a screwdriver on those. These have a fixed depth pattern in the shape of the outside of a flower or like 2 overlapping elipses with the centre lines removed?? Looks like I could use a circlip pliars on them but keyway is very narrow.

Cheers,

Rob

Maybe try your local tyre fitters? Would they have spares of these in case dopey owners walk off without leaving the key? Just a guess.

If you can get them off then you can buy a new set complete with your own key smile

Hmm, I use a screwdriver to remove mine. I also made a key by deforming some small bore copper pipe into the pattern of that flowery slotted screw you mention.
