T5 gearbox in the North West

Don't know if any of you guys can help me, but I'm looking for a used T5 gearbox- preferably in need of a rebuild to suit my somewhat tight budget. It's for a Volvo 142 street/strip car I'm building- stop laughing at the back!

Bizarrely, I'm in Blackpool but still can't seem to find one for sensible money. Can any PHers help me out? I'm not in any hurry as I've still got the body repairs/mods to do, but I thought I'd throw it out there...........

Good plan, but the TVR box has stronger gears and this one will be getting 500hp drag launches!

Read a little into the RS scene. Huge BHP's and torque are common and with the sort of lag that the top Cosworth motors suffer from the loading on some of those T5 boxes are massive.

CTS for uprating T5 boxes if you're intending to play in the big league.
