Perilous 4.5 Sounds !!!!!!!!!

So....here's the thing.....Ray has always wanted to have a recording of the Peril but we don't have any sophisticated sound equipment.

Returning from a meet one day, we pulled over into a lay by and stuffed the video camera into the boot.....

This is the result.........

Course,being a mega numpty computer bod I had no idea what to do with it but Luca came to my rescue when it came to the posting bit.......thanks Steve. A drink is waiting for whenever we meet!

Peril - you didn't tape it starting up

Your cerb has the nicest sound when it starts up. Seen people jump 3' in the air before now.

Hi Peril. What's the 'tick tock' sound at the beginning? Sounds like you've got a Grandfather clock in the boot - I guess that's there so you're not late for meets

No...that's the Peril's winky blinkys ....and if they sound loud being recorded in the boot...you can imagine how loud they are in the car!!!!!!!

Wow, they are loud! On a second listen it sounds like a bomb about to go off...... which I guess is more appropriate!

Is that "tick tock" your fuel pump? We did some video recently with some external mics in the boot and got a similer sound!

I have finally got round to cutting the sound out of one of my car videos and uploading it to my website.

This is an stationary audio file of my old 4.2 Cerbera which the MOT man said reminded him of a Lancaster!!!!!! I'll have to dig out some others.

Turn the sound up (especially the base!!!!!)

Bear in mind that the camera will have been right next to the rear light clusters, so the indicator noise WOULD be loud!

You may have gathered that I'm not too technically minded......

But they ARE still loud inside too!!!!

Some of you who know Ray well will be surprised at the lack of wheel spin!!!
