I have used Leven for the last couple of years and have been extremely happy with them....by far the best of a number of independents I have tried. They are really busy too which can be frustrating but is surely a good sign! Cmon guys back me up here!

I have heard a lot of good things about them from people that have used them and sure others will be along to recomend them soon!

I was going to use them for my steering rack, but they did not have the space to store my car while it was sent off to be overhauled as apparently they do not have a large amount of space and did not have a spare rack at the time.

Always very pleasant and nice to speak to when I have done though.

I've been using Leven since I bought my Griff 500 last year - can only say that Simon, Jules and Dan are a fantastic team and always give great service. They are, as per other posts, extremely busy - booking past August last time I checked; worth the wait if you can. /Mark

Down there this afternoon and can confirm they're booked until mid August.
Never used them before and just looking at their wiper upgrade, but spoke to Simon and Dan ( I think the mechanic) and both very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the cars

I've had my car serviced previously at Leven. A very friendly bunch and Dan did an excellent job. He certainly knows his way round a Chimaera and the car was running very sweetly on its return.
Depending on your opinion on price they certainly arent the cheapest which for the money conscious needs to be considered but the service level was very good.

I've only used them once and service was second to none. Friendly, answer the phone (a major feat for some) and really interested in you as the customer. Drop you off and pick you up from Basildon Station if you require.

Had cause to ring them out of hours for a fault and received friendly free advice.

I believe Griffs are their passion, but they are getting more and more cerbs on their books.

Well worth the money.

(Damn! I've not managed to slip in some throw-away one-liners just for the heck of it. There must be something amusing about Leven..confused)

Was down there chatting to them for ages this morning smile

Yes, I always use them Simon Jules and Dan make you feel very comfortable, and you know they are only trying to help keep you on the road as a performance car should be.

PS Jules makes a great cup of coffee when you get there.

It's just possible that it's my engine that Simon will be, erm, playing with from that Monday biggrin - he's persuaded me (not hard to do) to go all out and put in a stainless exhaust system and remove the pre-cats. All being well, will have it all done just in time for the growl in Augustsmokin /Mark

Ummm... that'll be my one then... She goes in 08:30 on Monday and I won't see her again for a couple of days.

Yeah, you could say that. Me and Jules were discussing the idea of a league chart of "best customers"... actually I'm only sitting at #2 at the moment, due to some inconsiderate swine overtaking me with a £2.5k job. Might get my top spot back when I have the manifolds / crank case leak / fuel hoses sorted though.

Honestly, the only reason I keep going back is the free coffee!

.... Hmmmm, who am I kidding, that stuff is the most expensive coffee I drink! Generally £500+ per cup.
