Improved wipers that work...

Due to snapping a wipper at Back Home on the Test Track I ordered two new arms and blades from TMS. Excellent service they arrived the very next day.

Anyway. When I talked to TMS they asked if I had plastic of metal wiper arms (mine were plasic) and that the new wipers are all metal.

Not only are the new wiper arms metal, the sping that holds them onto the screen is stronger resulting in a much more effective wiping action.

Just thought you might like to know if your wipers could do with an improvment.

Thanks.. Good tip.. Found Rain-X to be pretty good, (if a bit of a pain to applly..)

I use RainX as well, in fact with the wiper failure at Back Home, the only thing that saved me in the rain on the drive home was the RainX on the window, at 50mph the rain just ran off the screen.

Intrigued....what's hard about applying Rain-X? I just rub it on with a clean rag & Bob's yer uncle - takes about 1 minute every 2 weeks, 2 minutes if you do the side windows too.

I find the Rain X a doddle, it's their anti-mist I find grief to apply!

I know what you mean about the anti-fog. It's a real pain, but it was worth it in all the rain at Back Home. Not perfect, but it works.
