V MAX Standard Griff vs Tuscan S
Discussion
Superb to see a Griffiths thumping the opposition which didn't surprise me at all. Having owned a 98 Griffiths & 01 Tuscan S there is no way a standard Griffiths would get anywhere near a Tuscan S on road, track or on a runway unless Ayrton Senna was in the Griffiths & Jeremy Clarkson was in the Tuscan which seemed pretty evident on the video. Even if it was them two, Clarkson still should be in front every day of the week!

The Griff was a factory special if I recall and not a standard.

I didn't realise I was going to be judged off the line, I took it more than easy. When the Griff was a few car lengths ahead I put my foot down, but unfortunately as it was after lunch I just spun away the power with my cold tyres.

My impression was that it was no more than standard.
I reeled it in from a long way back
, although the Griff did have its roof down!btw I went across the line at 170 on that run, short of my 177 max for the day.
