Is anyone else having trouble with TVRCC forums again today? I can't get on the faffing thing again!

Every now and again, maybe two or three times a week, the forum asks me to log in again. It appears to log me in, but I still can't gain access, it just returns me to the login again. This happens both in the office and at home, primarily FF, occasionally Safari.
I've found that deleting cookies fixes the problem usually - NOT this time, but should this be necessary?

Before anyone mentions the new, combined login I did that months ago.

I'm on at the moment - no problem.

Have you got some kind of funky anti-virus software that's working overtime or something? confused

If I alternate between my pc and laptop it always asks me to log in again. I was told that it was something on the lines of cookie recognition and it sees different info from each computer.

If you stay on one computer the log-in doesn't seem to materialise.

When I registered lost all my previous history and postings, Ive been a "newbie" for some time now and it would appear I have to start all over again.

Your stuff is still in there and can be retrieved, even your demi-god status! Have seen others get their old identities back. Have you e-mailed the webmaster?

Yep. I'm back on again now - I've done nothing except pop out for lunch, had a couple of pints and it's all hunky dory again. Maybe it was the beer that helped ...
Frustrating though. curse

The Server Centre where the TVRCC website is hosted has gone down taking down not only our site but about 500 others as well. The technicians are aware of this and we are waiting for an update as to when they think it will be fixed.. It appears to be coming back on line for a few moments and then dropping off which is would explain the symptoms above. Sorry for the inconvenience but it really is beyond anything that we can do at the moment and we are reliant on the techies in Docklands.

I've given up with that site - I've not yet been able to re-register because my membership number is not in their database - tried numerous times with variations as advised by the club office, but nothing works.
