I like the fact that the Tuscan convertable is the normal with the roof off.
Anyway, have they got some cars hidden away to sell straight away or are they looking for orders ??
If the Russian guy hid some cars then I would assume law suits from those who lost their deposits etc would be in order.

I'll call them in the morning and see what the form is.

ive talked to them already. its seems they arent really tvrs persay but smoleys privvy projects which he built himself so is free to do what he wants with them. they were adamant on making it seem that prospective buyers who had deposts had no right ot them.

If thats the best argument they've got then bring on the lawyers.

Let me guess Moleskins built them with his bare hands in his backyard?

'While motorsport is never far from TVR's designers' and engineers' minds, the rigorous demands of the endurance racing arena were also a priority in the Sagaris concept. It has been designed to be the ultimate racing car for the road. Now it is possible to know what it feels like to drive a Le Mans car everyday.'

Am I wrong in thinking that NS pulled TVR out of ALL factory backed motorsport?

"The mighty Tuscan now comes in the form of a spectacular new convertible, described in the press as being so luxurious it must have escaped the resistance of TVR's accountants to get into production."

TVR had accountants? eek

I notice that what they have pictured as a Tuscan Convertible is just a targa topped S. Have they ditched the idea of a true drop-top?

There is more than just shells there. Enough parts to make a few new cars

Not true, bits and bobs but nowhere near enough to build any cars.

You spoke to Manhattan Motorcars or TVR? I emailed them and they said that they have no information and cannot tell me when the first Sagaris will arrive, as the Tuscans will follow some time after. I pushed for a rough timescale but he was very reluctant to give anything, even this side of September. Big mistake if you ask me as i;d be buggered if i'd want to use one around here when the bad weather comes in.

According to a Mr Nadar, salesperson, they expect deliveries to start in the New Year.

These will be newly built cars and not old stock.
