Funnily enough I've just been to Tesco...

I've got the mother of all projects on at work at the mo, Thurs is the revised deadline (I've just finished for today, so much for 9 to 5) but I'll be there... when we decide where 'there' is.
Where are you, Broadside? Last meet we had cars from Redcar, Stokesley, Thornaby and Stockton. NeilV is up Killingworth way and might join us if we prod him, but he's not from around these parts, so maybe somewhere easy to find? I also know of three other TVR nuts who I may be able to coerce into joining us (Nitrous 400SE , '87 280 DHC in US spec and an ex-Taimar owner who is saving for a Griff but may be persuaded by a cheap 350). Could be some gassing...

For a ride out I'd nominate the Lion at Blakey Ridge, but probably a bit of a long way for NeilV. Hmmm.... a convoy of V8's doing the Rosedale Chimney in 2nd...

Are there any good pubs north or inland of the Boro. Blakey Ridge is good for me but, as Ian suggests, not very central for everyone.

Hmmm... there's one at the side of the A19 up by Peterlee, but the car park is a bit dingy and can't be seen from inside too well. There's the Black Swan further south, but that's nearer Gemini's Yorkshire bunch than it is to us!
We could always terrorise the Max Toss brigade down at Seaton Carew but that's a bit like a busman's holiday for Bob who can do the same thing on his own doorstep...
Just north of here there's the one on the southbound side of the A19 near Hartlepool.... something Lodge I think...? Not far from Ron Perry's place (with a rolling road - woohoo!)
We could wake up the old fogeys and make it the Devonshire at Middleton One Row (near the airport) - frighten yourself daft and do the Aislaby road on the way there brakes? what brakes...?
Buck Inn, Chop Gate? Not far from Gt. Broughton per last time of course... which in fact may be a good spot again if nobody too far north joins in.
Or that one at Carlton in Cleveland... whassit called, I forget...
Come on chaps, help me out, I'm not RO yet you know!

I am not bothered by distance, so no probs there. The only place I can think of is the pub near the Canoe rapids at Teeside park. It has a large car park, and is ok for a chain pub. There is little point coming over to Darlo if most of you are in the teeside area.
Unless you really want to !!!!

Tees Barrage is OK, hope the weather is OK too so we can line up cars and observe the envious folk walking by.

Ah, you lot and your mid-week meets. Still in Scotland M-F (OK, I'm away this weekend anyway, but...), so I'll just wish you well and keep my eyes peeled.

Now I thought it was to be Wednesday. I'm OK for Thursday if that's when it's to be. Go on Ian, you choose.

For me, it has to be Wednesday. To try to make these arrangements firm is everyone OK for Wednesday, 08:00pm, Canoe Pub (or whatever it is called), Teesside Park?

Let me be provokative here.

Is everyone ok for Thursday, Looks like wedg1e is busy wednesday and I would like to meet the 390. Though I have a funny feeling I inadvertently met it at Croft last week and did not put 2+2 together for a couple of days !!!

If Thursday is OK with everyone then I will be there for 8- 8:30 latest. Got to put kids to bed then wake them up driving off!!!!

Wednesday is ok too for me. Lets wait for the wedgemeister.

Errr... Thus is a bit if a prob for me owing to wedding plans (not mine!) on Fri.
Wednesday is better... sorry!

Look forward to an ogle of the Tesco...

Ian

Edited to add: yes it was me and the Gruntmonster at Croft... obviously my duties as chief mechanic :ahem: meant I had to park in the paddock and was unavailable to sign autographs... ;-)
