Well! What a bloody good day out that was!

Somebody obviously prayed to the sun gods. Fantastic day, brilliant meet and run to the venue. The look on Richards face was a picture. Loads of good photos to be posted up shortly (when I'm in range of a wifi link!). Thanks to Sarah and Richard for letting us share your day with you. Also thanks to Peter and Ron for a great hoon route after the wedding.

Graham - how did we lose you so quickly coming back? Me and Peter came out of the sub, took a left at the roundabout towards the M5 and pulled into a layby to wait for you... 5 mins, no car. Had to abandon and head to the motorway frown

Right. I'm off to get some dinner and head back to the reception.

It was a great day, great weather, great venue and congaratulations to Sarah & Richard....thank you for the wine. Also well done to everyone who turned up clapclap it certainly helped make their day mememorable. The hoon afterwards was great too driving The traffic wasn't too bad once we got up Fish Hill and some spirited driving was had by all including flames from Ben's Cerbera!! Wish I'd seen that yes Not sure what that idiot coming down Fish Hill was doing overtaking when there was traffic in the overtaking lane yikes that was close!!

Will post my pics once I get the knack of this photo posting lark!!

What a great day - grooms face was a picture, very relaxed time on the lawn and 2 bottles of wine ! Result. Am I glad I went on the hoon after all. Or maybe not 'cause now all I am wondering is how much I need to spend to make my Chim sound like ben's cerbera. What a beast !

You hopping out of the car and stating "you're a f**king headcase you are" was magic.

Was a great day all round.

Don't think the guy getting to the pub appreciated 13 TVRs all revving up in the pub car park when we surprised Richard but everyone in the wedding party appreciated it.

As bigdods said, we got a couple of bottles of wine each and a lot of thanks for the day so i was chuffed i went.

The hoon afterwards was good fun, although i half expected blue flags to be waved at the cars in front of us that wouldn't get out of the way hehe

I think everyone that went can give themselves a pat on the back thumbup

Slightly disappointed though that mike didn't turn up in a wedge wink

Thanks for a great day out, Richard and Sarah are a lovely couple and we wish them all the best.
Sorry could not join the hoon but maybe the next wedding?

I think the 'high light' for me was moving from the first pub to the second expecting a few miles to drive and not 200 yards of LOUD TVR hooliganism through the village.

Did you see the look on peoples faces, priceless.

Thanks to you all and till we meet again.

Regards,

Cloggy and Mrs Cloggy.

Comment of the day for me - Best mans g/friend (I think it was anyway) says go on then lets hear it (parked at the venue). Start her up and shes hmm so/so. Stand away from the pipes I say then let her rip. Sleeved pipes up to 6k revs. She jumps and Richard (groom) who I hadnt spotted standing next to the car turns around and says ' I think i've wet myself' hehe

As everyone has already said what a great day, I think we had half the village out taking photos when we picked Sarah up from her place.

Thanks again for the wine (first bottle gone already) and good luck for the future to Richard and Sarah.

Ben I followed Martin out of the pub and by the time I realised we had gone the other way and got back you had gone. I tried to catch you up but too much traffic, then got lost when I left the M5 so decided to go home.

Great to meat you all & cann't wait for the next wedding.

Guys - what can we say? - You were all absolutely amazing! bow My expectations were far, far exceeded and Richard was completely gobsmacked. You certainly made what was already going to be a very special day, absolutely unforgettable.

The sun shone, the cars shone even more, you guys looked fab bowtie and everyone talked about it for the rest of the day/evening. The photos have already done the rounds (thanks Ben) and as soon as i have my mitts on a copy of them i have multiple orders from the guests - Yep you guessed it, mostly of the cars! lol

So from Mr & Mrs Stanley - THANK YOU ALL, AGAIN, VERY MUCH. We're off on our surprise honeymoon to Prague tomorrow, but as soon as we're back i'll sort some pics out.

Take care guys and please keep in touch type - You're like extended family now smile

Superb effort, guys

We had a great day out, and it was a privilege to be there, Sarah, especially those of us lucky enough to sneak in at the back and see the wedding 'proper'.

Superb location to show off a baker's dozen of Blackpool's finest (oh, and erm, to get wed!)

Many thanks to all the stalwarts who turned up - reckon we did a fine job, and brought a much-needed roar to the soggy Worcestershire countryside. It was worth a gallon or so of petrol to see Richard's face when we turned up, as well as the experience of stopping the traffic while we crammed Sarah's train into the Tiv, or to see the bridesmaid's faces when they got to choose which car to go in.

Also, dunno who organised the weather, but job well done there too!

Enjoy Prague - if you want a superb meal for pub grub prices, go to the new opera (at the top end of Wenceslas Square) - puddings to die for lick

Only just managed to get onto a computer since the hoon.

fantastic day. And all I can think is I want to go on another one ASAP..

Ben's Cerb won the sound contest btw. Reaching the meagre 225+db. - Ouch.

Having followed a fellow Chim 450, I'm definately getting the drop links on mine then I might have to continue changes from there.

Well done to our T350 owner as well (Marty G). Managed to keep up with all of us manics and how'd only got his car 2 weeks ago and never done anything like thi before. So well done.

Oh yeah. Uploading photos to

Dear all

I just wanted to say thanks to all you wonderful guys for making Sarah and Rich's wedding day so special. clap
The look on the other wedding party's faces when you all turned up at the crown was priceless!

Thanks to Ron (I think thats what his name was) for taking me to the wedding in his car and for having Billy Idol on the CD player! With the top down, sun shining, wind in my hair, Billy on the CD player - what more could a girl ask for??
At one point I gave up my right to have kids and said I'd have a hysterectomy to get Si (Best Man and my bf) to buy a TVR, but Ben later convinced me that Si should have the snip instead!

Apologies to Ben for kidnapping him after the reception party! Hope you had a good evening at the reception and also at the BBQ round Rich and Sarah's the following day!
Oh and thanks Ben for giving me a real good thrill that beat Rita Queen of Speed hands down! laughwink

Thanks once again guys for making the day so special - Rich and Sarah were chuffed!

Best wishes

Pam (Best Mans Girl) x x x

He still has the keys in his hands yikes

Can you start these things without the keys then? wink

Only kidding, one of your pictures is now my desktop at work, looks brilliant.

ETA: hope no more bits tried to escape from your car on the way home!
