Herts and Beds convoy Saturday from Baldock

Hi there chaps,(and lady chaps) just trying to gauge numbers interested in forming a convoy on Saturday from Baldock services ( Herts & Beds) to Rockingham. A departure time of 8am has been suggested by Grumpy Bear, our RO,however a couple of people have commented that this may be a bit early for them. I'm open to suggestions for a revised time ( ie later !)if required. If your intending to join the convoy please let me know so I we dont leave anyone behind and also so as to avoid me being in a convoy of ONE ( otherwise I'll have a lie-in !!).Please feel free to add your names and keep me company.

Hmmmmm. Thanks for the invite Sim! Jury's out at the moment. Might be a little early for me, especially if I am going to stay up half the night partying!

Yes, fair point. I had a quick look at the running schedule for Saturday and they believe that peak arrival time (so the heaviest traffic) will be between 0900 and 1000.

The the 'fill the bowl' means you have to be ready to go at 1130. So I may go for an arrival time of after 10 but in good time for 1130.

That's kind of where my head is at, but then with me ...... who knows! But will still make sure I let you know! Any idea what the Cambs lot are doing? Would make for a bigger convoy!! I'll try and find out and report back

Thanks, again, Nick. I'm with you on your line of thought and as yet not sure if I'm going to have a late finish on the Friday. If that was the case I may struggle to make the 8am deadline myself. Should that be the case is there a volunteer from someone else whos going from Baldock to lead things ? Not sure what Cambs are doing but not a bad idea for a link up

Dont mind either way myself, just much more fun in convoy. Will keep and eye out and see what gets decided here.
