All sorts of stuff - can't remember the exact list but things like, no more than two car lengths apart, not separated by any other vehicle, etc. etc. Not sure how it's all verified though.

All that said - it was a great sight! Loved it. Think we should have gone a bit faster though winkevil The sound would have been amazing! And it would have been easier to control the distances as well.

What we really needed was Bosscerbera out front as the pace car! laugh

Oh well! Unless the 'car' length is some sort of stretch Cerbie.

It made the Formula 1 coverage on Five Live, thanks to Peninsular texting in. Although they never mentioned TVR, just that the record had been broken. I think the commentatot got confused as he asked how many Ferraris were on the track.

According the the TVRCC crew it was all videod and the video has to be sent to the guiness world records HQ then confirmed in a few days.

We were closer to the 2 car lengths than the ferraris were apparently so it should all be ok.

ETA: at an estimated value of 15k per car, the 'traffic jam' value would have been around 8 million pounds!

Also if you took the average BHP of lets say 230 per car (real hp not TVR numbers)
you would still have 126,730 combined BHP yikes

I was 6th in the line so got back to the paddock to watch above the pits and cars were still entering 30 minutes later. Thought it would have been more than 551.
Bloody thing wanted to stall all the time so I had to keep my foot on the acclerator most of the way round as I didn't want to screw up the attempt.

If everyone who had a TVR there took part it could have been 600 at least. Damn shame for those who were there in their Tivs didnt take part. But great effort all round

How embarising would that have been .. to breakdown on a parade lap hehe and after all that polishing biggrin

Guess you cleaned the back of your car - so the people pushing would not get dirty hands :
