Hi
Seems the CDX -P24S option on the mid to late 90 cars are UK specific as the NZ Pioneer agents have no reference to this model.
Would some kind person with this model please check if there is a part number on the magazine as I need one urgently.

Cheers Paul

Just to confuse matters for you, I have a late 2000 Chimaera, it came with a Pioneer CDX-P25 6 CD changer from the factory.

The magazine for mine is JD-612S, there are no other numbers on it.

Is it the same as this.... :-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pioneer-6-Disc-CD-Changer-CDX-P24S-leads_W0QQitemZ330154802319QQihZ014QQcategoryZ75302QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Have a search on the NZ Ebay and see what you can get, cheaper to buy a whole replacement one off fleebay with a magazine, than a new magazine off Pioneer.. thumbup

Thanks for the input
There are two right loading magazines,JD 612s and 612v, probably the s,just to make sure has anyone got a cdx p24s they can check the magazine number, the car's a 97.
Agreed its easier just to buy another unit, however iv'e drilled some neat holes in the boot surround channel for the brackets and do'nt want to risk another not fitting.
