Gerjo, the gearbox on the XJ220 still isn't fixed so it looks like the old TVR might have to be made ready for the trip. Unless, of course, it rains when I'll be able to scare everyone again in the BMW

coming over for Zolder, have a lunch stop in the "Belgian Club House" I keep a parking slot for the XJ then. We can make the trip to Heerlen together, make sure to take jump cables and a towing hook so I get there too.

Me & TVRMark are tunneling early morning (08:29) on Thursday to allow plenty of time for "repairs & refreshment".

I'll be there - hopefully travelling in convoy with a certain "Green V8S", and aiming for the 11.36 EuroTunnel on the Thursday. Got my sights set on some 4 litre class silverware, assuming I manage to avoid last year's less than optimal metal on metal brake configuration.

You're on ... I haven't booked the ham rolls and coke after seeing what people got last year ...

We're on the ferry at 12:30ish on Thursday. £40 for a 4 day round trip ... too much of a bargain to turn down really.

Please tell me the TVR is going to make it this year Colin ? You promised a ride !

I have booked for Zolder but this afternoon contacted my insurance Co (Norwich Union via A1) to check that I am covered and been told that they no longer cover track days on the continent has anyone else come across this or can suggest where I can get cover.

Well if you did have some bad luck on the circut whos to tell if it happened on or out side the track ,if you know what i mean.

Fish has got continental track day cover through Sunninghill (Royal Sun Alliance) as long as he doesn't do any timed runs, but they don't do odd days insurance

Thanks for the replies am waiting for a quote from competition car insurance althoug I am sure it will be expensive.The most anoying thing is the first line of A ONES'S ad in Sprint says "free track day cover" and after yesterdays phone conversation they are going to start charging new customers for UK track days & existing customers on renewal.Also what is the difference between a track in the UK & one on the continent?
