Hi there,

I have been asked by a friend (reliable source) to post up the image below in a desparate attempt to try and establish the type of alarm system that this key fob belongs to.

I understand that the fob is off a system fitted to a Chimaera / Griff.

I will try and answer any questions

Thanks in anticpation, clap

Hi Steve,
I see many different alarms and fobs in my work and I think this looks like a Laserline alarm fob.

If you need any help in tracing a stockist drop me a PM and I will try to help further.

Cheers Roy

Hi Adrian,

Good to hear from you mate, been a while!!

It looks like the fob is a fairly basic one as it only has one button ( most had two buttons one for lock/unlock and one for panic)

I will dig thro my old brochures to see if I can find the model numbers and let you know.

There is an alternative if you want to renew your fobs but it will mean finding a good auto electrician with the correct gear to program up some new fobs.

I`m trying to purchase the very kit at the moment so will keep you posted.

Hope your family are all well. will you be going to Papplewick??

Cheers Roy

I have the same fob for my '92 Griff. It's a Gemini alarm I believe.

Yes...As you might of heard, Zane, got implated at 13 months and you'll meet him at Papplewick, He's 2/1/2 now and has amazing hearing and speech!...

It has just been posted that this could well be a gemini unit, it is working (apart from a battery soldered joint) but the case is US.

I've spoken to Carl and he is on the ball.....I will speak to him again today. There is a possibility of a genric fob....then, if not, maybe an upgrade is on the cards.
