I usually see more TVR's when I'm either on foot or in another car and I usually give them a damn good looking at from a distance.

I've realised that I just look like one of the many admiring onlookers that like to gaze, but inside I'm screaming I've got one too!

So how do you tell someone that you have one too without sounding like the plonka's that live in dream land pretending to have one or without sounding too bigheaded that your trying to steal thier limelight?

I suanter by grinning with inner piece. Then franticly try to get home for a blast.
On another note, a few years ago I approached a TVR with its owner to say hi and got the long look of disdain and you are invading my space stare.

If I know the driver can see me, I just give a subtle thumbs up.

I dunno - but I've done similar.

Gone steaming up to a Tiv (on foot, no obvious outward signs of sanity) and started up a conversation before I've realised what a plonker I must sound.

Had I been the other driver I would have gone "oooo - nutter--alert, bzzz, bzzz"!

I must admit I've done this a few times in Newcastle trying to get drivers into the PH Massive! I'm sure people just think I'm nuts and then throw the PH card away as soon as I've turned my back!

I was up at Lakenheath talking to a guy & his son whilst watching F15's.

A Griff went past and the guy says to his son look a TVR.

I was dying to say I've got a TVR but thought better of it.
He would have either have thought I was being a flashy bd or lying.
