Isn't it amazing how when the crap was being spouted by a committee member, they did/do f all about it.

I know for a fact that the arrogant, supercilious attitude of some of the committee members is the major reason for several RO's resignations of late.

Sorry David - it's supposed to be fun, not a fight.
It's a shame because I've met some great people through TVRCC, yourself included, Jeffsy, FlipFlop, in fact C3C & Bristol in general are great. Having said that, most of the events I've enjoyed have been through PH anyway.

I shall not elaborate on this but the problems I have been suffering resulted in a 90 min phone call with Jeremy. Jeremy is a very reasonable and level headed chap who only wants the best for the members and the army of event organisers. I know the Club is anxious to sort the issues but it's not a simple process. Unfortunately in my case the solution won't arrive in time. I have already handed my RO role over to someone else and Chimfest will have to find a new organiser and venue if it's to have a future. It's a great shame all round. I enjoyed membership for many years but I just can't forgive the bullying and lies that came my way. In defence of the Club, Jeremy is trying to mend things. Trouble is committees like this are, by there very nature, slow to change.

I honestly do hope things get better soon but please don't suggest the Club fails to act. They do act as quickly as processes allow to sort out problems.

Re joined the club this week after a 2 year absence, left because I was disillusioned with it all. Appears nothing has changed.

Its all about grown ups acting like kids when they're on a forum, you never see this sort of behaviour at a meet or down the pub, everyone gets on really well - what makes us all so tetchy when its on a forum? (& yes, I am as guilty as the next man)

I just dont get it - but thats why I rarely post on any forums nowadays, as I really dont think they generate the good feeling that comes across at both TVRCC & PH meets.

Hmmmm..........

I was suspended this afternoon (presumably by the muppet Calland) without warning or explanation and have now seemingly been re-instated, again without any explanation. So I posted up a thread asking what the procedure was for the expulsion and suspension of members and the thread was removed with 2 minutes! It's just too funny. The TVRCC site has apparently banned free speech and will only allow postings that meet with the approval of the self appointed Stasi that run the site.

Wouldn't it be simpler to stand for election on the existing club, and change that?

it would give you the advantage of numbers, heritage and assets.. far easier than starting from scratch and if you can convince an existing membership to vote for you you obviously have the right Ideas...

I would like to see one healthy club rather than a couple of unhealthy ones battling for members.


SO if you have ideas how you would like things done, voice them ( on here and the tvrcc forums) and stand for election...
