Basically, this is where you get to spend half a day or more with a 1st class certified Police Patrol officer who teaches/corrects your driving skills to best handle and max your driving ability. They have a section dedicated to TVR drivers - anyone been on it ? Would love feedback if you have.
Yes, I have done it in my Tuscan. Well worth the experience and it will enhance the enjoyment of whatever you drive if you want to go fast. I did the 8 hour Advanced TVR with road and runway (and a bit of skid pan for a little extra). I have written an article on Ride Drive for Sprint which will hopefully be accepted over the coming months.

Been meaning to book a session for myself and my other half for sometime, work keeps getting in the way. Have recently e-mailed them to fix a date, no reply and I find tonight that their server must be down. Anybody had any joy contacting them electronically recently? I'll give them a phone instead
I did the intro course of 4 hours first. What an eye-opener!! That set me up nicely for the full day of 8 hours, including time on an airfield. Now THAT was good(Ooerrr)!! I did a few 180's, and sat there giggling afterwards wanting to do more! It's amazing how you learn to power-slide and keep control by gently correcting the steering. It was well worth the money! Bl**dy knackering, too!! RideDrive will have a stand at PistonFest and I think our own MadCop will be in attendance (but you never heard it from me

I did the full 8 hour course when I first got the car nearly 2 years ago.
It gave me so much trust in what it is capable of (balance, grip, braking) but also more importantly, showed me where the boundary's are and what happens if/when you exceed them.
My instructor was a really switched on guy with a great attitude

I would say Ride Drive is a must. I have owned powerful cars in the past but most of what you learn is by mistakes that can prove costly or worse. Last week I had the full monty two day package with them. 16 hours of pure fun, learning and plenty of grinning. By the end of the two days I was absolutely shattered but it was well worth it. Whatever the format you chose it's worth it and it's an experience never to forget. I have booked another day with them when I pick up my Tuscan S (that I purchased the next day) in July. I did a 4 hour course with Ride Drive in Leeds when I first got my Cerb 4.5 lightweight. (More like 5 hours in the end). I use techniques I learnt with them 7 months ago - every day now. From safe over taking, smooth and rapid progress through traffic, loads of stuff. Also feel it helps me from wrapping myself round trees & other unwilling road users.
I got to push myself and the car (although the car would go far further than either of us had the balls to take it). Absolutely brilliant. Would recommend it.
