Final Colour choice- nearly there!
Discussion
Ive posted several threads on here regarding my Chims impending fresh coat of paint and had some very helpful replies.
I visited Jon today at Ewelme Coachworks and i/we have narrowed it down to 2 colours.
The first is Cureton Green which is the cars original colour. Im sure that it would have that just left the factory look once it had been sprayed and look very nice indeed.
In fact i had settled on this but then i went into the workshop and saw a Cerbie being repaired and this got me thinking.
The Cerbie was Halcyon Atlantis....sort of a blue/green and now im wondering if this colour would suit my car.
Does anyone know if this colour shows as Green on the V5?
I want to keep my V5 with the colour green...dont ask why,i just do.
The other main point is that ive just had the car retrimmed with a very light cream carpet and the seats, dash etc are Parchment (light green)and im not so sure that it will go with Halcyon Atlantis.
I really cant decide and im just wondering if im on a flight of fancy or that i should repaint it the original colour.
Ive been told that theres a Halcyon Atlantis Chimaera in Dec/Jan copy of sprint....if so,does anyone have one that they no longer want?
Any replies/opinions would be greatly received as ever.

Halcyon Atlantis is a fantastic blue/green/turquiose colour and will suit the Chim. BTW it may be called blue from new in V5 but that shouldn't be a problem - leave it as green. Isn't parchment more "biege" than green? Just to throw another curved ball at you, how about Ash Green
- just a thought.
- just a thought. The retrim was done by a guy who does the retrims for the TVR Centre and other TVR independants.
The whole carpet was replaced with a cost of £450 and its a good job..im well pleased.
Parchment looks to me like its a cross between Green and grey......but it certainly has a Green tint to it.

Its booked in early August so should be completey finished by the time that the Sept meet comes along.
I will probably keep it the same colour.....it will be nice to have an unmarked body.
BTW ..where did you see the reflex green one as a matter of interest?
