I'm assuming theres a meet on this Sunday and the weather looks good so anyone fancy meeting at S Mimms at 1030 for a run in to the meet at Baldock.I'm slightly crock at the moment with a bad back but will hopefully be fit for it WEATHER permitting !! Should the latter be the case perhaps a theme of roof off (of course) and bizarre hats ought to apply..... ? jester Simon ( "I Spy" ).. a wig would qualify !!! ).biggrin

wavey Going to the meet, but won't be able to meet you at S. Mimms mainly cos' I'll be in the Cerbera and I'm damned if I'm taking the roof off to qualify! Happy to wear a wig though silly

Hi Si. How about a different route? Would love another convoy but not along dual carriageway. Went to the Lotus open day a few weeks back. Sat at the back of a 15 car Lotus convoy. Dont think they noticed ;-) Bit slow though. Bless.

How about M25 - A10 - Buntingford - A507 to Baldock?

Or to be really keen, and a blindingly good drive...

M25 - A10 - Ware - Watton at Stone - Walkern - A507 - Baldock... Road from Watton to Walkern is a blinder, but not for the faint hearted ;-)

Hi Spy,

Not deported..... yet ! just keeping a low profile matey and would have loved to have made Duxford, alas circumstances scuppered that. Be nice to catch up on Sunday.

Nick, look forward to seing you there...( Emmas grinning now) how will I recognise you ? wink

John, I'm open to all suggestions just so long as we achieve the objective ie leave together, stay in convoy and arrive together preferably with my driving licence in tact !!. Will have my daughter as co-pilot so there'll be no heroics from moi nono !!!!

ps Nick... didnt mean to make it sound like it was confined to soft-tops so your usual wig n Cerby would be fine laugh although I know its a bit of a two-way haul for ya !

Ah, now technically a co-pilot does the actual controlling whilst the Captain sits back and reads a book laugh Hey, at least she has clean driving licence! The leaving together bit did get confused back at the knebworth stint... Would suggest the route depends upon numbers and who fancies what at the time. Roads are also pretty slippy at moment which does add to the fun eek

wink Surely you don't really think that would stop me? In fact....... laugh

Looking forward to see you and 'M'!

Pack your ear defenders - the Cerbera had a blocked cat and I needed a quick fix............. eek

I have issues with the speed bumps in Walkern....... ie I can't get over them without stopping the traffic as I go through the middle of the humps.

Know what you mean! I used to run very low clearance but am now back to std height after a full geo check and setup. I usually go through the middle anyway!

Is it the usual time at South Mimms? 10.30 leaving at 11??
