Mid Essex Meet Convoys. 11/11/07

It's that time of the month again... the second Sunday of the month, which means it's time for the Mid Essex TVRCC meet… so Sunday 11th November means, as always, it's convoy time.
Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 12:00, and if you're on the Southend meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 for the TB pre meet convoy.
How do I get to the White Hart..?1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,
The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

SOUTHEND PRE MEETING POINT is the parking bays on the front by Thorpe Bay yacht park, in between where Thorpe Hall Avenue and Maplin Way meet the front. 10.15 to 10.30 leaving 10.45

There is a glimmer of a hope that I might be over for a while. Took car in for 1000 mile oil change and health check... 7 weeks later it's still there creating great vacuums in my bank account.
Should have it back later this week, but running in milage reset to zero for the third time this year, so will be driving like a right puss

As a Herts & Beds region bloke thinking of straying east to meet the neighbours in Essex 
please would someone post where the WH and TB convoys actually drive to? Is it somewhere in Southend? There must be a pub or venue somewhere.. Or is it just a hoon whose paths overlap somewhere? Have I missed something obvious?

Cancel that. Engine still sitting on a bench. Car spent more time in Garage than on my drive now. 8 months of ownership and been off road for nearly five of those. No, not going until December and the other car is still in the garage so again I have no car this weekend. I may be sorting a lift off another member otherwise it's a no show again for me.nikman said:
