Due to a short fall in the numbers of Tuscans that have booked with Motorsport Events for the Tuscan Driving Skills Day at Keevil Airfield in Wiltshire, this event is now open to all TVR's
(but TVR's only!)

If you haven't already seen it the discussion about this event is here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=32786&f=5&h=0

For £120 you will have all day at this remarkable Airfield venue and driver Tuition included - now is that a bargain or what ?

Keevil is a huge venue and the greatest danger is that if you don't have a passenger you may become lonely out on circuit. This is no competition, this is not an event to prove that Griffs or Cerb's are faster on track than Tuscans or vice versa

The event is all about how to handle a TVR, be warned you will be sent home if you arse about! Doughnuts or intentional spins included!!

The Tuscans and their owners may well keep to themselves a bit (but then this was meant to be their day only) but this doesn't stop a gang of you forming up with Chim's or Griff's etc

Above all have fun with it

Simon

(also to let you know, there are a bunch of Tusks staying overnight near to me ready for the drive to keevil in the morning as signing on will be about 08:45. If you travelling from afar there is space in another hotel near me. we are getting together for pre-match pies, you might like to join in!)

Would certainly have come to this but you've clashed with the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

After doing one of Don Palmers courses at Bruntingthorpe in my Griff 500 I wouldn't mind doing another one of these types of days.

This one's a bit short notice but I'd be up for doing one later in the summer, however, I'm not sure what stuff I'd need. As far as I know for track days you'd need a helmet but what about roll bar etc?

And would requirements on an airfield day differ from a track day on a proper circuit??

Cheers - Chris

You will need a helmet, a roll bar is not essential
