A common thread I know, but does anyone have any insight on the beginnings of a new dawn with regards to recommencement of TVR production?
Here's hoping......

No
Hope is futile. If it happens it will be a pleasant surprise , depending on what they produce and where.

Everytime on TV recently when they have been talking about TVR they always say the russian did the sagaris and the tuscan 2, but these must have been in the works before he took over!

Lets hope they come back strong soon.

The reason why things have been so slow recently is because Smallendski is taking over Rover, bringing full scale production back to longbridge, rescuing Marcos & Ascari and planning production of 40,000 cars internationally by Xmas

hehe

Basically, theres nothing happening nor going to happen while the little shit owns the company

Peter Wheeler produced both the Sagaris and the Tuscan 2 - the Russian kid did nothing but sink TVR.

Would seem to have been made in heaven - perfect for the TVR production existing in one little Slav's imaginary world...

From what i was led to believe, this was the latest;

TVR has Central London office to deal with all enquiries.
Engine Development work carried out by Ricardo.
Parts Distributor established.
Manufacturing of Bodies and components by Bertone.
Assembly and R&D Centre to be established in the UK.

From what the dealers have been told, the wait is on the engine specs and other general logistics to be put in place. I wouldn't discount things just yet, expect something in the new year.

The thing we all forget here, Smolenski has sunk a small fortune into this and he's not going to walk away from it.

Why , what has he done other than spunk several of his millions down the toilet , do you think Mr Wheeler would not have done the same thing and closed TVR had it suited him

Agree with your sentiments re the amount of cash NS has spent but the point at the moment is the major link in all of this, Bertone, i.e. The place where TVRs are supposed to be going to be assembled has gone bust!

The other problem with that also is we all know how good the italians are at rust proofing and welding. hehe
