Phoned them up on Friday to order the hot start kit for my Chim. Very helpful chappie asked if I had a meter to check voltages etc; I said I had, but mines on the blink to which he replied that he had a load to get rid of FOC so would send me one. Having taken my address I said "you want my card details". "Oh no Sir, that OK just send us a cheque when it arrives",
Amazingly trusting.
It all duly arrived on Saturday and of course I've just put the cheque in the post today.
What excellent service and nice people to do business with.

Good for you. I ordered the brighter lights kit weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Luckily I'm not in any rush.

Hi there

I ordered an aerial amp kit some four weeks ago. Only arrived today. Having contacted David Beer (who builds the kits) it became apparent that he builds to order. His main business is Clarion repairs and the Mod-Wise bit is a bit of a hobby.
Bear with him, you will eventually get it.

Mr Beer is actually really good, when you can get hold of him....

The first time I dealt with him it was exactly as the OP, brilliant, and to be fair still is really good, has offered some great advice, but I have been trying to buy a electric window kit for something like 6 months to no avail. Only runs Modwise as a hobby i understand.

Top bloke though...

This is not Davids main business, only a sideline to help us lot out so you may have to wait a bit. His kit is 1st class, very good value and does what it's supposed to. Spoken to him many times but still never met him. Top bloke and life would be much easier if all in TVR circles was like him.

I'm not knocking Dave, I think his products are great. I appreciate it's not his main line of business and as I said earlier I'm not in any rush.

Modwise products rule ! David makes great products, the only problem is, he only has two hands. David is building his new company, so he can only spend a limited amount of manpower on Modwise. I hope he finds the time to process the old orders also (hint).
