Anyone know keith allen or reg 12 KMA

While at the DVLA in swansea today, i was talking to the lady there who years ago, sold an old gran tourer with the reg 12 KMA to a gent by the name of keith allen.

she said the chap was a really really nice guy, and that he bought the TVR to restore, she would love to see a picture of the said car if anyone knows of it. apparently, it was her ex husbands and was in the garage for 15 years.

she had a genuine love for the history of the car, it was used in a few races i believe.


it was the only time ive been to the DVLA and had a nice experience lol

I have owned 12KMA, Grantura Mk1. I bought the car in South Wales around 99/00(in bits!) I sold it in late 2001 (still in bits) to a friend of the guy who now has the ex-Ian Massey Crosse Grantura ex-Le Mans racer. It was subsequently sold to the guy who has the ex-Le Mans racer. I assume that he still has it, I do have some contact details for him somewhere (I'm notposting his name on a Public forum), so if you email me through my profile I may be able to help.

In the 60's 12KMA was arced in club racing as there is a picture of it at Silverstone in one of the Tipler books.

I cant think of any other car i could have found the owner in such a short time can you ?
