My key fobs wont work after the battery went flat.
Have tried new batteries

any ideas?

Are you saying that they won't unlock the doors?
When i had a flat, it upset the alarm and immobiliser (but the plippers still worked the locks). With the assistance of someone on here, i charged the battery, then disconnected it for 30 seconds and reconnected it - making sure that you press the plipper immediately after reconnecting the battery.

Bingo - all was re-set. I hope this works for you too, good luck

Jess, have you disconnected the battery? After three minutes disconnection you may find the alarm re-syncs?

cheers I will give it a go tomorrow.
never had this problem before even after having fitted a new battery.
will keep you all posted

Hi, pull the alarm fuse in the boot and re-fit, the alarm will re set... It did it to mine last Sunday...

I did it. and it worked.
sorry took a while,just a niggle i have been putting off. must order a new plippy now to replace my broken one . then i can reset it against the other one i hope.biggrin
