Have to apologise to my local region for not turning up.. BUT i spent the day at Wembley watching the Race of the Champions!!! Schumacher, Button, Grunholm, Alister Mcrae, Caulthard and many other greats of the four wheel variety battled it out to be crowned the champion of champions. The track was great and during the intervals there were stunt bikes doing wheelies, donuts, stopies, backward flips in the air etc. Also that bloke who does donuts whilst changing the front wheel and having a cup of tea was there. Great act as he set one car going on perpetual donuts, climbed out and got into a Tamora and drove circles round the driverless donuting car!! MAD.

Anyone else go?

Edited to say.. How many other guys have a bird who takes them to such great events as mine!

I watched some of it on TV. Had to try hard to keep from dozing off - I guess it was better being theresmile

The Arse v Chelsea seemed far more entertaining (didn't stop me from dozing thoughsleep)

Yeah - did you hear the knob of a host ask how many TVR owners there were in the audience? Followed by 'they must be local!'

Found it difficult to hear anything that was said. Thought the Audio visual was total crap. Was expecting better. Is great to see TVR's being used in these shows. Watched the Clarkson MPH show a few years back and TVR's featured there too.

Alas, did not put my hand up cause i missed the announcement...

Was also there, although I missed the extreme MotoX having picked the slowest queue in the history of the world for a cuppa! frown

It was good to see a TVR being used and quite impressive that the guy could still do his trick of sitting on the door while doing donuts in it!

The off in the Aston and Prilaux ending up in the penalty area in the SolutionF 'Astra' were both quite entertaining too, as well as Schuey losing it on the very last corner of the last race. drivingthumbup
