Mileage Keeps Resetting
Discussion
I understand that this topic has been discussed but i was just wondering the quickest way and cheapest to get this problem resolved.
I have a T350t and since changing the battery the mileage keeps resetting - only the last 100 miles or so.
David Gerald has informed me that the dash will have to be sent up to Blackpool to a female in a "Shed" to be fixed. Has anyone had this done and was it successful and also what was the cost.
Cheers
Jon

That's a somewhat rude and dismissive description of the lady who probably built your dashboard in the first place. I think I'm right in saying that over 90% (if not all) dashboards fixed since the demise of TVR have been repaired by this one lady. You don't need a large whitwashed hi-tech unit to repair a unit that can be carried in a shoebox.Cheers

A bit harsh to criticise a building by calling it a shed when one considers the premises the car was built in. I have a T350t and since changing the battery the mileage keeps resetting - only the last 100 miles or so.

I have no personal experience but have been told by two people who have used this shedded woman that their specific problem was solved. No comment on pricing, though.
I was going to do an article on repairs and parts availability for T-Cars, especially the pod, but there seemed to be no problem. One large TVR specialist in London had nothing but positive comments on this Blackpool place. The only option to having it repaired would seem to be one of the dismantlers that are advertised in Sprint.

Who is this lady?
My air con isn't working and I've been told its because my pod isn't telling it to work. Contact details appreciated.
I see your in London. Try Kings autos, Rochester, Kent.My air con isn't working and I've been told its because my pod isn't telling it to work. Contact details appreciated.
Ken King gets all the jobs sent in from other a/c specialists when they have given up.
Mine went from the state it was when I bought the car, ie hasen't worked for years, to so efficent it forms ice on the windscreen.
Now there are inherent problems with the design of the Griff heater box It was never intended for use with a/c and this causes problems.
Ken is going to produce a replacement design heater box for me. Plastic not cardboard, air diverter, not water valve like the original design.
To cap it all Ken was trained at a TVR garage and was the workshops for Claremont Corvette.
Give him a try.
I suspect that the 'shed' is round the back of Automedon

, just thought it came across as disrespectful to someone who does (I believe) a good job and has managed to put a good number of cars back on the road.
