Coming back from an absolutely blinding Tivs & Pasties last w/end, driving topless along the M3, enjoying the sunshine, we overtook a BMW Convert with the top up. However, as we were approaching it from behind, the driver did a thumbs down out of the window at us!! Was it just jealousy?? Having had one of those myself 2 cars ago I felt quite distgusted at the lack of respect shown. The whole w/end we had just experienced nothing short of adolation as we rumbled around Cornwall..So what happened with this guy??

He was probably a vicar upset at the sight of you driving topless Lady T.

I wouldn't be so prudish.

Just a to$$er. You should have just slowly cruised by, smiled, given him the finger then introduced him to a world of performance that he could only dream about.....

You should really feel sorry for the guy - I bet he has a 2" dick and this has clouded his view on life and he probably has to express himself in a negative fashion to everyone who has something bigger, better or faster than him.

Driving a German skip he has probably never been given any repect so doen't know what it is. Just another case of bad taste, bad manners and bad attitude combined. Its more common than you think.

Weird. Something similar happened to us last night
for the first time.

Two 'lads' went across in front of us at a roundabout
and one just stuck his fingers up at us.

Now I know that was just pure jealousy and that
they were in their brainless teenager phase, but
still not fun to explain to my young daughter.

Go create some weather...

Only the sexiest looking cars will ever provoke this kind of response.
Jealous reactions from thoughs with no money can be a problem and i'm never comfortable with that, jealous reactions from thoughs with money but no taste is funny and only makes them look ridiculous .

Lady Topaz, you were obviously driving on the BMW-lane; and everybody knows, that you have to have a BMW to use the BMW-lane

Would you beleive it, this just happened to me as well !

Just turning off a main road onto a side road doing about 10mph and two guys were crossing the road. I slowed down so they had time to cross and one of them just looked up, and stood in the middle of the road wagging his finger at me shaking his head.

He stood there for about 10 seconds holding up the traffic and then mooched on.

Bl*ddy wierdo !

I blame the Government. Their mission to make speeding as anti-social as drink driving now means that people get the hump if you're just in a car that looks fast.

W@nkers.

On the flip side, I had a guy on the M25 buzzing me on Thursday night. Wasn't sure what he was up to and then he drew along side. He was frantically nodding and gesticulating - he wanted me to give it LARGE! So I dropped a gear and obliged

wonder if it's possible to keep one's cool and just give a friendly wave and a big smile under the circumstances. kinda says 'i really couldn't give a ****' in a very polite way:

I used to have a Vauxhurl Corsa as a company car and drove about 36k miles a year mainly in and around the suburbs of North London. Used to get blokes trying to intimidate me in their big mercs and BMWs - girlie in a small car you see. Anyway I adopted a really agressive style of driving - cutting up etc as you do in a company car and used to get hooted at all the time by those I had upset. So I adopted a nice friendly wave - like they were my best friend. Not sure I would do it now - someone would probably thump me.

I am heartened that there is at least one less narrow minded gentleman out there who can appreciate a lady driving with her top off.
