Just a question out of interest really. I understand the above to be similar from a chassis perspective except that the sag has a wider track, is that true? If so how much work is it to get a T350 on par with a Sagaris for handling?

That is all,

I believe that apart from the wider track, the suspension was reworked (with ProDrive, or did I imagine that bit), so mounting points etc are not the same. So, presumably not trivial. Not sure if the changes made it back on to any late model T350s.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along...

My old T350 had the front shocks and geometry changed to be the same as the Saggy.

When I drove a Saggy after driving mine to the dealers - they felt exactly the same except the 3.6 seemed more revvy - quicker to rev.

Oh - should add I was hoping the front tyres would wear out on mine but they lasted the 12K I owned the car - with life left but to get to the point - I would have changed the profile size - they are like rubber bands - something like 30 or 35 series.. The back tyres were slightly higher at 40 series..

The fronts really crashed into pot holes and you ended up scanning the road ahead and driving around them .. and not doing what you should be doing .. loving the drive and performance.

That is interesting - I wonder how close the 'on limit' handling was between the two if the pickup points remained unchanged?

I have to admit that I really liked the way the sagaris hung its back end out on TG without snapping back in. Are T350's like this or do they suffer in the same way as Cerbera's (well like my Cerbera used to!) ?

The wishbone mounting points are all moved up and out by the same amount on the sagaris chassis and the wishbones are the same so , apart from the track , the geometry is the same . If you tried to do this to a T350 the front wheels would not turn ( steering not rolling ) In my view one of the main differences with the sag is the front tyres and even if you stick with standard suspension they will not fit on a t350 even a 225 40 will rub . The best way to improve the ride and give the sidewalls a chance to work is to fit a narrower front wheel ( 7.5 - 8" )

Thanks for the info! How much have they been moved forward? Is this is lengthen the wheelbase? Are the rear wheel pickups given the same treatment by the same amount?
