Been at the pistonheads show today... was cracking... The thing that still defies belief... The most interest was still prob around the various TVR's that were scattered around the place.. How can they still not be in business making cars (and money!)... I know... a little rant that makes none of us feel better... but it just reminded me today how lovely TVR's are and the amount of interest that people seem to have in them, and how sad it is they no longer survive (at the moment) as a viable company... The amount of kids walking around saying "Cor dad look at that" and pointing at a Cerbera / Sagaris / Griff / T350 etc etc etc

Rant over... I will shut up now!

Cheers,

never stop the rant! keep it alive inside you and occasionally air it!

someone will prise the remnants of TVR out of nikolaiski's mitts and revive the brand. cue the ph accountants to harp on about how it isn't financially viable..... you can stick that view where the sun don't shine!

i've said it before on ph, but i've spoken to someone who has been involved with TVR for a while, and there are people wanting to buy what's left from him and start making TVR branded cars again. they are european, but very much enthusiasts of the brand.... with the required funds.

TVR has 'died' before and come back from the grave. as you say, there's too much interest for it never to be tried again.

Two answers I suppose, dwindling customer base (blame Porsche & BMW mostly) & lack of confidence in reliability (Speed 6 etc.).
So bl**dy sad though. frown
